For over two centuries, immigrants
from all over the world have come to this country, escaping tyranny and poverty in their home countries. They came here, to America, the land of the free and they have prospered.
Why then, do these descendants of those immigrants, want America to emulate
those very countries that our ancestors left? Why do we turn to Europe and feel
the need to be like them? Are we not better than that? Countless immigrants
would have said yes, but sadly, this has been lost upon their children and
successive generations.
